Breakouts

Conflict & Clarifying Conversations (Chapel) - Friction is often needed for growth in Christ. This breakout will explore the many difficult but necessary conversations that should occur in discipleship relationships. Scripture gives us guidance in how to approach these moments in love.

Discipling Faithfully in All Stages of Growth (Game Room) - Where are you spiritually? Have you ever felt stuck in discipleship? Like whatever your doing isn’t working? It could be that you are pushing someone beyond their limits or not challenging them enough. This breakout aims to look at the different stages of growth in discipleship and how to best help someone in the place they are at.

Foundations of Discipleship: Faith & Repentance (Cafeteria) - Navigating conversations around sin and God’s grace can be one of the most challenging parts of true discipleship. This breakout is for anyone desiring to be equipped to lead those conversations. We will give practical help towards encouraging faith and repentance in other believers.

Scripture Memory (Upstairs Conference Room 1) - Scripture memory is one of the most foundational spiritual disciplines, but is too often neglected. Spurgeon said, “the Bible in the memory is better than the Bible in the book case.” This breakout will exhort the practice of meditating on the life giving words of scripture and keeping them near at hand for times of trouble.

The Joy & Necessity of Sharing the Gospel (Upstairs Conference Room 2) - Evangelism and discipleship both center on declaring the truth of who Jesus is and seeking to see that truth transform hearts and minds. This breakout will explore the importance of sharing the Gospel with those who don’t believe and how practicing evangelism is necessary for growth in discipleship.
