“Guard Your Heart” Redefined - Ellen & Nick

In our day and age, the idea of “guard your heart” sounds cliche and overdone. But what does it really mean to guard your heart? Does it just apply to sexual purity? Because, spoiler alert, guarding your heart has far more to do with being a holistic disciple of Jesus than its application in any one area of our lives. Learning what it truly means to guard your heart now will help you walk with Jesus now, after graduation, and the rest of your life. Here we’ll be talking about what it means to guard your heart, why it’s important, and some ways to do it.

Sexuality - Cody

There is an obvious tension in our culture - and even among churches - about the role sexuality and gender carry in human identity. Does God talk about this and if so what does he really say? Understanding a Biblical Sexual Ethic may be one of the most vital teachings entering the second quarter of the 21st Century. Let’s look at how God establishes gender within his image bearers.

People over Projects: Sharing the Gospel - Marcy

Building and maintaining relationships is hard, especially when you have school, work, sports and more on your plate. Adding authenticity to these relationships can sometimes fall to the wayside when your to-do list starts filling up with people. In this breakout, we’re going to look at what the Bible says about how sharing our lives goes hand-in-hand with sharing the gospel. Let’s see people as people, not projects.

Enjoy Reading Your Bible - Christian

For so many of us reading the Bible can quickly become a chore and something that we have been manipulated into doing. Once we are done we walk away feeling productive but didn’t find much delight in the words, lives and stories you just read. Other followers of Jesus talk about loving time the Bible and getting so much out of it but reading the Bible feels so much like a chore to me. How can I find more delight and enjoyment in the simple story of the resurrected Messiah?
