Celebrating the work of God is one of the most exciting works of the people of God. Identifying where He is working in the lives of people and telling those stories. The 2017 Longhorn Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) Celebration Dinner will be on Saturday, November 4 at the Westin Hotel in the Domain with doors opening at 6:00pm and dinner starting at 6:30pm. There is no cost to any attendee as the entire event has been underwritten.
The evening will be full of fun faces, dynamic testimony and humble gratitude towards the Father as we will be celebrating His works and movements on the 40 Acres. Come meet the staff of the BSM, hear from the students whose lives have been changed for all eternity and find out ways you could prayerfully consider partnering with the future ministry at UT and ACC campuses.

Our speaker for the evening is Dr. Charles Breithaupt, who currently serves as Associate Vice President at the University of Texas and Executive Director for the University Interscholastic League (UIL). Dr. Breithaupt has served with UIL for the past 25 years and at UT since 2011. Dr. Breithaupt was a Texas High School coach for 17 years, before joining the UIL team, where he won a State Championship in 1991 and was named Coach of the Year for the state of Texas.
Charles’s focus is to see students excel in all areas of their lives and believes that it is in graceful competition that one is most easily shown who they can become. This is done both on the court, where he has spent most of his life, and in the classroom. He has written three books chronicling his story, another legendary coach, and the most influential place for every coach, the sideline.
Dr. Breithaupt completed his education with a PhD from The University of Texas at Austin after receiving his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Lamar University. He and his wife of 40 years, Debbie, live in Georgetown and have one daughter and two granddaughters.
